Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to everything bought from tellervision.com. They cover how an order is placed, how it is paid for and delivered, and what happens if something needs to come back. Plain language, no small print.

1. Who you are buying from
This website is operated by Tellervision Business Solutions Inc. (“Tellervision”, “we”, “us”), manufacturer, owner and distributor of Vision infrared counterfeit money detectors since 1999.
- Based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. Our full postal address is available on request — just ask.
- Email: info@tellervision.com
- Phone: 905-265-7411, answered 24 hours a day
- GST/HST registration number: 862960838RT0001
By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. Products and prices
We sell the Vision MCD-900-1 infrared counterfeit money detector. The specifications shown on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge, and product photographs are representative — small differences in finish or labelling between the photograph and the unit shipped do not make the product faulty.
We price in two currencies, and you choose which applies to you before you buy:
- Canada — 319.00 CAD per unit. Two units 638.00 CAD.
- United States — 234.00 USD per unit. Two units 468.00 USD.
You can order one or two units through the website. For three or more, or for a purchase order or invoice, get in touch — that is handled directly rather than through the cart.
Prices are shown before tax and shipping. Applicable taxes and a shipping charge are added at checkout, where you see the full total before you enter any payment details. Nothing is ever charged that you have not seen first.
We are registered for GST/HST (registration number 862960838RT0001) and charge it where it applies.
Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects an order that has already been paid for.
3. Placing an order
Clicking Buy now takes you to a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe. Your order is an offer to buy; it becomes a contract when your payment is accepted and Stripe emails you the receipt.
We may decline an order — and will refund you in full if we do — where:
- the item is out of stock;
- a price or product description was listed in error;
- we cannot deliver to the address you gave us;
- we suspect the order is fraudulent.
4. Payment and card security
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe’s own encrypted page, not on tellervision.com.
Tellervision never sees, handles or stores your card number. We receive only the information we need to fill the order: your name, email address, delivery address, what you bought, and confirmation that payment succeeded.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and digital wallets including Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them.
5. Shipping and delivery
- Where we ship: Canada and the United States. Everything is dispatched from Canada.
- Carriers: Canada Post within Canada. Orders to the United States travel Canada Post Expedited and are handed to USPS for final delivery.
- Tracking: every order is tracked as standard, to Canada and to the United States. You get the tracking number by email once the parcel is on its way.
- Cost: one unit — flat $40 CAD anywhere in Canada, flat $40 USD anywhere in the United States. Two units — $50 in either currency. Added at checkout, before you pay.
- Dispatch time: orders leave us within 3 business days.
- Delivery time: 3–7 business days after dispatch, to Canada and to the United States.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a courier has the parcel, their timing is outside our control — but if a delivery goes wrong, call us and we will chase it with you.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. If a unit arrives damaged, tell us within 15 days of delivery and keep the packaging — see section 6. We will deal with the carrier; section 6 sets out how a unit is returned.
Orders shipped to the United States may attract customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees charged at the border. These are the buyer’s responsibility and are not collected by us.
If you are outside Canada or the United States and would like a unit, get in touch — we will quote you directly.
6. Returns and refunds
You have 15 days from receiving the detector to return it. That applies whether it arrived faulty or damaged, or you simply decided it is not for you. Tell us inside those 15 days and we will give you a return address.
What applies to any return
- Tell us within 15 days of receiving it.
- The unit must come back in its original packaging, complete and with everything it was shipped with. Keep the box and the packing material until you are satisfied the machine is working — without them a transit claim cannot be made against the carrier.
- If the packaging itself arrived crushed or torn open, photograph it before you unpack and tell us. We will not hold damaged packaging against you when the damage is the reason you are contacting us.
- Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer. Please use a tracked service and keep the receipt — we cannot action a return we have no record of receiving.
- The unit must come back unused and in resaleable condition unless the reason for the return is that it arrived faulty or damaged.
- Once the unit reaches us and has been inspected, we replace it or refund the price of the detector. The original shipping charge is not refunded.
- Refunds go back to the original payment card once we have received and inspected the unit. Your bank decides how quickly it then appears on your statement, usually within a few business days.
How to start a return
Email info@tellervision.com or call 905-265-7411 with your order number before sending anything back, so we can give you a return address and note it against your order. Returns sent without contacting us first can be delayed.
7. Warranty
Each detector carries a one year warranty on all parts and labour, running from the date of delivery. If a covered fault appears in that time we repair or replace the unit, and the parts and the work are both on us. Shipping the unit to us for a warranty repair is arranged and paid for by the customer, and we cover sending it back to you.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, liquid, dropping, unauthorised repair, or normal cosmetic wear. It does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
The detector requires no updates or subscriptions when new banknotes are released, and there is no maintenance schedule or recurring cost.
8. Cancelling an order
If your order has not shipped yet, call or email us and we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has shipped, treat it as a return under section 6.
9. Training and support
Staff training is available in person in the Toronto area — just ask. If you are elsewhere, our Instagram shows the detector in action, and every unit ships with reference pamphlets showing what a genuine note and a fake look like under the lens. Our support line is answered 24 hours a day on 905-265-7411. Multi-location rollouts are arranged separately — get in touch rather than ordering through the website.
10. Your information and privacy
To fill an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We use it to process and ship the order, to contact you about it, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
Payment details are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s own privacy policy. Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored by Tellervision.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the people needed to complete your order — our payment processor and our shipping carrier. You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@tellervision.com.
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. That data is aggregated and is not tied to your order.
This is the short version. Our full Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, who else sees it, how long we keep it and how to ask for a copy or have it deleted.
11. Limits on our liability
We stand behind the detector. What we cannot accept is responsibility for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business or lost data — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product.
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
The detector is a tool used by a person. It is not a substitute for your own cash-handling procedures, and we do not accept liability for a counterfeit note accepted at your counter.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any dispute goes to the courts of Ontario.
13. How to reach us
Any question about an order, a return or these terms:
- Email: info@tellervision.com
- Phone: 905-265-7411 — answered 24 hours a day
- Post: we are based in Vaughan, Ontario. Ask us and we will give you the postal address.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the day you place your order.
